Indexer Sessions is released

Indexer Sessions turns bookmark collections into reusable, focused browser tab groups across the web app and extension.

Indexer Sessions is now available for Pro users, bringing reusable bookmark sets and focused browser workflows to the web app and extension.

What is included

  • Create saved sessions from folders or selected bookmarks.
  • Add additional bookmarks to an existing session from the web app or extension.
  • Open saved sessions from the extension as Chrome tab groups.
  • Open folder bookmarks as a session while selecting up to 30 links.
  • See active sessions and their tracked tabs in the extension.
  • Pause, resume, finish, and reopen active sessions without losing the saved bookmark set.
  • Keep session data synchronized through the Indexer account API.

Why it matters

Bookmark folders can become too large to use as a working context. Sessions let you turn a focused set of links into a temporary workspace without changing the underlying bookmark organization.

Sessions are a Pro feature. A session can contain up to 30 bookmarks for one tab-group launch, which keeps opening a session manageable and prevents accidentally opening an entire large folder.

Sessions is available in Indexer Pro on the web app and the browser extension.
